Twilio provides cloud-based tools and services to help businesses engage with their customers; users are offered in-depth explanations of these tools and services through articles on Twilio Learn. My task was to create over 30 illustrations based on the article titles. One significant challenge was avoiding being too literal, as some subjects and terms were addressed multiple times. Another challenge was developing an art style that fulfilled the immediate need and could be used again in the future. I utilized an isometric layout that allowed for more dimension, and added lines and directional indicators to mimic vintage technical illustrations. The color scheme was extracted from Twilio's brand guidelines and I used half-tones to expand upon the restricted palette. (Illustrator)
